Shipton Lodge Thoroughbreds at 845 Cut Hill Rd, Cobbitty is a beautiful 600 acre property, with outstanding facilities for Spelling, Breeding, Training and Pre-Training your horses for the racing industry.
Our Training Track is State of the Art, 2000 metre in circumference including a Viscoride surface for fast work. A Sand Slow Work Track is perfect for cantering and there is an inside warm up trotting track. The Track includes a 600 metre chute for Jump Outs and a 450 metre straight. Our experienced trackwork riders include ex-jockeys from around the world to give your horse the best racing education.
Our facilities include a smaller Track, Horse Walking Machines, Swimming Lagoon, Treadmill and a Set of Hydraulic Barriers for Trials and Jump Outs. Our Spelling Yards have new post, rail and electric fencing, with individual shelters and irrigation.
Shipton Lodge Thoroughbreds has an on-site veterinarian, with our own hospitalisation facilities to take care of all the horses on the property.
From birth through to racing your horses will receive the best possible care and attention.
